Black Warrior Hunting Service 23 Point 174 P&Y Bow Kill Oct. 2001  Our Location and Trophy Management Program We are located 20 miles south of Tuscaloosa, Alabama in the rich bottomlands of the Black Warrior River. Hardwood timber, cotton, corn and soybeans are produced here along with the largest whitetail deer herd in the southeast. We also have quality as well as quantity. We have managed our deer herd under the Quality Buck Program developed by game biologist at various Texas Universities and at Mississippi State University. The basic principle of this program is to kill a lot of does, a few of your bigger spikes, let the young, healthy 4,6, & 8 points go, and to shoot older mature trophy deer which are 8 points and up, 17" or wider. We have been under a Trophy or Quality Management Program since 1977. We are one of the oldest, if not the oldest privately managed tracts of property in the State of Alabama.  Hunting Land and Additional Hunt Info We have 4,000 acres to hunt on. You will hunt on corn, wheat and clover fields and oak flats in the hardwood timber stands. We offer very exclusive hunting to both the bow hunter as well as the rifle hunter. We do not hunt more than 6 hunters at one time, so you know when you come here you won't have to worry about hunting with large groups. Lodging and meals are available on all hunts. Meals consist of a Continental Breakfast on your own and hot home cooked meals for lunch and supper. The updated photos will be located on our Game Cam Page.  Lodging & Additional Info We have two options of lodging choices available to our clients.We have the main cabin which consist of three bedrooms and two full baths. It also has a living area equipted with cable tv and a small kitchen. This cabin will comfortably sleep up to eight people. Our second lodging option available to our clients is the (V.I.P.) Suite, this is a luxury office suite that has a very large bedroom and full bath, with whirlpool tub. It has a bar and small refrigerator but has no cooking facilities.
